It started off as a research paper in our Business Communication class and resulted in a First Place win with the Arthur Page Society Communication in the Business Communication Case Study Competition.
For the Lauch DePaul New Venture Competition, we had to develop a New Venture Plan, researched and validated based on the Business Model Canvas and executed in a concise three-pager. Part of the validation was also a survey with 250 participants and social media listening.
In our crisis communication class with professor Jim Motzer we analysed the crisis communication of several cases. Based on the learnings of those cases, our own research, and input from guest speakers, we developed a crisis communication plan for a mock cruise line.
As a communication student I’m always open to business insights. At the Kellstadt Business School, I took the class Return Driven Strategy with Dr. Mark Frigo, author of the book Driven, to gain business marketing knowledge. Our final project was a case study about Google based on the return driven marketing strategy concept.
